Porphyry, or purple: the Greeks with this name indicated just that color. We have chosen to perpetuate this tradition because even our Porfido, a pure silk fringed ribbon, recalls the purple color.

To be precise, it is a desaturated powder lilac, that color that is difficult to define but impossible not to recognize in so many streets and squares in Italy: the color of the porphyry cubes used for flooring.

Porphyry is a truly unique mix, the most harmonious and delicate encounter between lilac and gray, a shade that knows no excess.
